LOD generation
The Simplygon Unreal Engine plugin supports two ways of generating LODs for your Static and Skeletal Meshes.
- Using a LOD Recipe (Recommended)
- Using the reduction interfaces
The reason why the LOD Recipe is the recommended workflow is because the reduction interfaces are very limited in how they work and what options they provide. The LOD Recipe poses no such limitations and you can utilize more of what Simplygon can provide.
