# Creating an actor proxy
First we need to open the Merge actors window located at: Window > Developers Tools > Merge Actors.
Select the rightmost tab in order to utilize Simplygon with this feature.
Note
You need at least one actor selected in your level to activate the merge actor window
Select the actors you would like to merge. In the example I'm creating an actor which is supposed to be viewed at 200 pixels. I would also like to include normal maps and roughness into the baked material.
Below are the resulting mesh and base color texture.
