Simplygon SDK 8.3 installer products and features
The Simplygon SDK 8.3 installer contains multiple products and features having a varying degree of installation configurability. All per-product and feature installer parameters are by default enabled (=1), except the various directories of the Simplygon Simplygon Grid Agent and Admin Utility which default to the paths listed below.

Use the command prompt to specify product/feature installer parameters.
Simplygon UI
The Simplygon UI product corresponds to the Simplygon UI app from where assets may be loaded, processed, evaluated and exported.

None. Simplygon UI is always installed to the indicated installation path.

Simplygon Grid
The Simplygon Grid product is where the processing functionality resides and incorporates the Simplygon Grid Server, Simplygon Grid Agent and Simplygon Grid Admin Utility.

Max/Maya Plugins
The various Simplygon Max/Maya plugins are always installed to %userprofile%\Documents\Simplygon\8\UI\Max and %userprofile%\Documents\Simplygon\8\UI\Maya, however the Install Max/May plug-ins installer option allows setting whether the corresponding plugin shall be installed (copied) to any detected Max/Maya version's plugins folder.

Whether to install (copy) the Simplygon Max/Maya plug-in and dependencies to any detected Max/Maya plug-in folder (detected via Max/Maya registry entries).
InstallUpdateSettingsFiles
Whether to update certain setting/config files. This option shall always be enabled (InstallUpdateSettingsFiles=1) unless it prevents the user from writing to user directories such as %localappdata%, whereby manual configuration of these setting/config files is required since the installation process will avoid writing to these directories.
InstallSimplygonGrid
Whether to install Simplygon Grid (the following 3 features).

Whether to install the Simplygon Grid Server feature (requires InstallSimplygonGrid=1).InstallSimplygonGridAgent

SimplygonGridAgentRootDir
The path to where the Simplygon Grid Agent will persist general data such as the current Agent settings.
Default path: %localappdata%\Simplygon\Grid\Agent

The path to where the Simplygon Grid Agent will persist any temporary data.
Default path: %localappdata%\Simplygon\Grid\Agent\Temp
SimplygonGridAgentLogDir
The path to where the Simplygon Grid Agent will persist log files.

SimplygonGridAgentSimplygonLibDir
The path to where the Simplygon Grid Agent will extract downloaded Simplygon Libs.

The path to where the Simplygon Grid Admin Utility will persist any application data such as the current Admin Utility settings.
Default path: %localappdata%\Simplygon\Grid\AdminUtility
Note
By default all non-directory related parameters default to 1, i.e. 'do install'.
Note
The directory related parameters can be changed post installation via direct editing of the Agent's or Admin Utility's config files Simplygon.Cloud.Yoda.Backend.LocalAgentService.exe.config and Simplygon.Cloud.Yoda.LocalAdmin.exe.config, by default located in <install folder>\Agent and <install folder>\AdminUtility respectively.
Prior to editing one of these config file directly, the corresponding application needs to be shutdown.
