Installation of the Unity plugin

To download the Simplygon installer, go to the Simplygon website and locate the "SDK Installer", click download. Once the download has completed, start the Simplygon installer and follow the instructions presented on the screen. Simplygon Unity plugin

When the Simplygon installation has completed, open Unity's Package Manager and follow Unity's Install a package from a tarball file instructions. Select C:\Program Files\Simplygon\<MajorVersion>\Unity\com.microsoft.simplygon.tgz. The same source package supports all Unity versions listed on the Unity integration overview.

The Simplygon Unity package should now load automatically every time Unity is started. Go to Window -> Simplygon to bring forward the Simplygon UI, if it is not already present. The Simplygon UI can be docked to most docking areas inside Unity; just click and hold the Simplygon label and place it at the location you prefer.

Customize the plugin package

To customize the package, extract C:\Program Files\Simplygon\<MajorVersion>\Unity\com.microsoft.simplygon.tgz to a writable location, such as your project's Packages folder. In the Package Manager, select Add package from disk and open the extracted package\package.json.
