Simplygon Blender Add-on

Simplygon's Blender add-on is supported in 2.9x and in preview mode for 3.x. For supported features please consult supported feature table.

Simplygon comes with a add-on for Blender 2.9x (opens new window) which exposes optimization features such as Reduction, Aggregation, Remeshing, Impostor (SingleView, BillboardCloud / Vegetation), Occlusion meshes as well as material baking for standard shaders. Blender 3 support is in preview.

The Simplygon Blender add-on is currently using glTF (opens new window) as intermediate file format, which puts some limitations on available functionality and material support.

There is also scripting support against the Simplygon Python API, for more customized solutions.
