Installation guide for advanced UE4 integration

Note

Advanced UE4 integration is not available for Simplygon Free users

  1. Go to Simplygon Website

  2. Click on "Unreal Engine 4 Integration" tab

  3. Submit a valid license key that is entitled to advanced UE4 integration

  4. Download UE4 integration package for specific UE4 version you are using

  5. Decompress the package and run SimplygonMergeTool.exe

  6. Set User Engine path to point at the engine folder where you want to apply the integration to

  7. Specify whether you want to apply the integration directly to User Engine by checking Merge into User Engine, or copy the engine to a new location by unchecking Merge into User Engine

  8. Click Merge to begin the merge process

  9. Copy file Simplygon_8_license.dat to \Engine\Binaries\ThirdParty\NotForLicensees\Simplygon. Simplygon_8_license.dat is located at %localappdata%/DonyaLabs/SimplygonSDK

  10. Navigate to the engine folder specified in 3. and run GenerateProjectFiles.bat

  11. Compile the engine to gain access to the advanced integration
