Simplygon Blender Add-on ​

Simplygon comes with a add-on for Blender which exposes optimization features such as Reduction, Aggregation, Remeshing, Impostor (SingleView, BillboardCloud / Vegetation), Occlusion meshes as well as material baking for standard shaders. For more customized solutions, there is also scripting support utilizing Simplygon Python API.

Supported Blender versions ​

Simplygon 10.2 is currently supporting Blender 3.6 LTS.

Limitations ​

The Simplygon Blender add-on is currently using glTF as intermediate file format, which puts some limitations on available functionality and material support.

Also, all functionality that depend on selection sets are currently disabled, with ambition to support it in the future.
